[Los Angeles, California — January 21, 2026] — California based RV manufacturer, EVOTrex announced the launch of the completely self powered Evotrex PG5, a travel trailer designed to generate it’s own power for extended off-grid travel and boondocking.
How the RV Generates Power
According to the company, the PG5 generates electricity through an integrated power system designed to eliminate dependence on traditional gas generators and campground hookups.
The Evotrex-PG5 is the first RV trailer with the ability to generate its own power using energy from its own propulsion and a1600 Watt rooftop solar array. On top of that, the PG5 offers an advanced energy management system that ensures efficient operation of onboard appliances and systems. As a result, it makes extended, self sustaining trips possible. The all electric RV reflects growing consumer interest in RV products that allow for energy independence. It also supports extended range.
“Our goal with the PG5 was to design an RV that empowers adventurers to explore without compromise. Its self-power generating capabilities and intelligent energy management system provide the comfort, reliability, and control needed for confident off-grid travel,” Alex Xiao, CEO and Founder, Evotrex
