BLUETTI Apex 200: This New 2,560Wh Power Station Is Built for RV Camping

Bluetti Apex 200 portable RV power station

BLUETTI just announced a new expandable portable power station. Built with versatility in mind, it could be a practical option for RVers who want to be able to power the entire RV when they’re camping off-grid./

The new BLUETTI Apex 200 combines a 2,560Wh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with 3,200W of continuous AC output. Unlike most portable power stations, it features a dedicated 30-amp RV outlet, making it particularly interesting for travel trailer owners and other RVers who want to plug in to electricity when they’re boondocking. The Apex 200 is fully rechargeable using solar panels, so all you need to do is plug in the panel and the power station does the rest- converting solar energy into a useful power source for your RV.

RV LIFE Trip Wizard

One of the big advantages of upgrading your RV with a portable power station instead of a lithium battery bank is that you won’t need to worry about upgrading expensive RV components like your converter. When you plug your RV into a power station, it draws power as if it were plugged into a power post at an RV park. Another advantage is that the power station is a separate appliance from your RV- so you don’t need to spend money on components that will go with your RV if you sell it one day.

If all this is just what you’ve been waiting for, you’ll need to be patient to get one he Apex 200 is scheduled to launch in the United States on November 5, 2026.

Designed With RV Camping in Mind

One of the most appealing features of the Apex 200 is its built-in TT-30R outlet, which allows owners of compatible 30-amp RVs to connect their shore power cord directly to the power station.

The unit also includes a 12V/30A Anderson port for compatible DC equipment, along with four independently controlled smart AC outlets.

For RVers who spend time boondocking, the combination offers flexibility. Instead of relying entirely on a generator or an RV’s existing house batteries, owners could use the Apex 200 to provide supplemental power for selected appliances and equipment.

However, having a 30-amp RV outlet doesn’t mean the power station can supply unlimited electricity. Its standard continuous AC output is 3,200W, and actual runtime will depend on the appliances being used.

Expandable Battery Capacity for Longer Adventures

The Apex 200 starts with 2,560Wh of battery capacity, but its modular design allows owners to increase energy storage as their needs change.

Compatible BLUETTI B300K and B500K expansion batteries can increase the capacity of a single system to 33.28kWh.

That’s potentially useful for RVers who want to build a more substantial off-grid power system over time without replacing their original power station.

The Apex 200 also supports up to 3,000W of solar input under compatible conditions. BLUETTI says the system can work with its portable solar panels and Charger 2 alternator charging equipment, allowing owners to replenish battery power while traveling.

Is the Apex 200 Practical for RV Living?

For RVers who want a portable power source with room to expand, the Apex 200 has some promising features.

Its dedicated RV outlet, substantial inverter output, and solar charging capability could make it particularly useful for travel trailer owners who enjoy camping without hookups.

However, its 59.5-pound weight makes it less convenient to move around than smaller portable power stations. And while 2,560Wh is a useful amount of energy storage, it won’t run power-hungry appliances indefinitely.

For example, a continuous 1,000W load would theoretically exhaust the battery in approximately 2.56 hours. Actual runtime would be shorter because of inverter losses and other operating conditions.

Price will also be an important consideration. BLUETTI has not yet announced the Apex 200’s retail price, making it difficult to assess its overall value against competing portable power stations.

Availability

BLUETTI has opened early-access registration for the Apex 200 through November 4, 2026. The company plans to announce pricing when the product officially launches in the United States on November 5.
