If you’re looking for a better way to blow dust and debris, but you;re also looking for an quick and easy way to get campfires going, and air mattresses and water toys pumped up, the Wolfbox MegaFlow 200 Super Power Turbofan might stop you in your tracks. This innocuous looking, multi-use tool rapidly became one of my go-too, favourite tools in both the RV and my daily driver. For RVers and campers, the Flow100 has so many uses- and thanks to its rugged construction and long battery life, it performs reliably every time

I’ve been testing the Wolfbox MegaFlow 200 Super Power Turbofan for over 2 months now. With that said, I’ve tested plenty of RV and camping gear over the years, and if I’m honest, I wasn’t expecting a palm sized cordless fan to become one of my most-used tools. I’m always finding new uses for this little air machine. That’s probably why, after putting the Wolfbox MegaFlow 200 Super Power Turbofan through its paces, it’s earned a permanent spot in my RV tool kit. It’s safe to say I’m definitely a fan of this versatile tool (baddum…)

First Impressions

The MegaFlow200 comes with 5 task oriented nozzles and and two cleaning brushes and a bag to keep it all neatly at hand when you need it. Mine also came with and extra battery, but in two months of nearly daily use, I’ve only had to swap the battery one time.

Build quality is solid and it definitely feels solid, not like some cheap thing that’s going to break when you inevitably drop it. And I’ve done this multiple times with no effect (so far) on its performance. At just over half a pound, it’s light enough for ease of use. The ergonomic grip is comfortable, and the controls are easy to access when it’s in use. The MegaFlow 200 Super Power Turbofan offers three power levels, so you can blow as hard or soft as you need for whatever job you’re on a mission to complete. This also lets you adjust settings to preserve battery life.

Performance

The first thing you’ll notice is just how much air this little blower moves. What’s amazing is that it’s so small, but if it had warmer air it could be used as an efficient hair dryer. The secret to this is its 150,000 RPM brushless motor. This enables the MegaFlow 200 Turbofan to produce an impressive blast of air that easily surpasses canned compressed air for most dusting jobs (and is a lot less wasteful). That said, it delivers up to 190 MPH airflow and around 70 CFM, making it surprisingly effective for cleaning everything from electronics to outdoor gear like the camp stove.

Some Ways I’ve used the Megaflow 200 Super Turbo Fan

  • Cleaning the keyboard on my laptop
  • Blow debris from my RV gutters as well as slideout roofs and awnings
  • Blow debris out of my RV water heater’s burner tube
  • Quickly dry gas stovetop burners after a major spill
  • Clean dashboard vents
  • Help dry basement storage cabinets after a leak
  • Start campfires instead of blowing on them
  • Inflate my camping mattresses and paddleboard

It’s one of those tools that I’m always finding new uses for (kind of like duct tape or WD-40).

Battery Life

Battery life has been better than expected.

On the lower setting, Wolfbox claims up to 100 minutes of runtime, while the highest setting naturally drains the battery much faster. Charging is done through USB-C and takes about 2.5 hours from empty, which is convenient whether you’re at home or charging from your RV.

Specifications

  • 150,000 RPM fan speed
  • 45 m/s Airflow speed
  • 2.5 hour USB C charging time
  • 100 minutes of operation per charge on low setting
  • 500 uses per charge
  • Weight: .66 lb
  • Warranty 24 months

Benefits

  • Incredibly versatile- lets you pack fewer tools
  • Powerful!
  • Takes up very little space in my RV tool bag
  • Rechargeable
  • Easy to pack (compact, lightweight)
  • More environmentally friendly than disposable air cans

I thought I’d be using the Wolfbox MegaFlow 200 Super Power Turbofan as a computer-cleaning tool and honestly wondered how else I would use it. However it quickly became something I use nearly everyday around the RV for different cleanup and repair tasks.

Two Minor Downsides

At full power, the MegaFlow 200 is a little on the loud side. However, with a name like that you should expect it to be loud it’s not intolerable ,and I just look at it as an easy trade-off for being such a little beast.

Another downside is that it can’t be used to blow up a flat tire. So you’ll still need an air compressor for that. Maybe Wolfbox will come up with a solution for this in its next Super Turbo Fan model.

Is It Worth Buying?

This tool is definitely worthy of a place in your RV tool box. It’s really useful for cleaning electronics, and I did use it for cleaning an astonishing amount of debris from my keyboard. However, it’s more than a reusable air duster. RV owners and frequent campers will find a lot of different jobs for this tool. But even if you work (or play in a garage, or simply hate buying cans of compressed air, the Wolfbox MegaFlow 200 Super Power Turbofan is one of those tools you’ll end up using a lot more than you expected. In any case, few will regret spending money on this.

Plus, It’s compact enough to toss into a toolbox, glovebox, or RV storage compartment, powerful enough to tackle a surprising number of jobs, and versatile enough to replace several single-purpose tools.
